Window Mountain Lake & Mount Ward

Mount Ward often goes unnoticed within the Crowsnest Pass and the attraction to this hike isn't the mountain itself, but what can be seen from it.

This hike will take us first to Window Mountain Lake and then beyond. We'll stop for lunch at the col of Mount Ward with spectacular views of Window Mountain, Crowsnest Mountain, and the Seven Sisters and then continue a short distance to the summit. This hike does feature some scrambling but is an excellent, low exposure introduction to scrambling if you haven't done any before.
